For next 04 years was engaged in R&D activities of a company producing Power Protection Relays required in HT/LT Electrical Utility application.

INWARD QUALITY CONTROL:

Utmost care is taken while selecting the type & make of various electronic, electrical & mechanical components.
1) All the raw material & electronic components purchased are from reputed manufacturers who assure the values & the tolerances of the components.
2) 100% of the purchased raw material is first visually inspected.
3) After random selection of 20% components, the same are thoroughly tested for their values & rating.
4) Components like ICs, Transistors, Transformers are functionally tested at their specified tolerance limits.
5) PCBs are got designed using the latest softwares & are manufactured using the most modern state-of-art technology, thus eliminating any flaws & errors.
6) All mechanical hardware is tested for their dimensions, guage & finishing.
7) Cabinets are manufactured out of steel sheets of standard guage, are properly treated & are powder coated, so as to resist wear & tear caused due to environment, shipment, & handling.
8) Jobs got done from third party service providers are straight away rejected if not found within the specified dimensions & quality.

OUTWARD QUALITY CONTROL:

1) Before going in to final assembly each discrete sub-assembly is first tested for their functions & operations for a given number of times.
2) After final assembly of all the functional components, the instrument is tested thoroughly for its overall function, by applying the inputs both – rated as well as extreme.
3) After found OK the instrument goes in to final assembly. Great care is taken to see that the electronic components are not damaged during mechanical assembly.
4) Each fully assembled & finished instrument / system is put to heat run test of 48 hours.
5) Once again the instruments are tested thoroughly for its overall function, by applying the inputs both – rated as well as extreme.
6) Di-electric & insulation Test is conducted on each & every manufactured instrument / system as per IS 3231.
7) Final visual inspection is conducted.
8) The material is properly packed in road-worthy package. Each box / carton is properly marked & labeled for easy identification.
9) The material is dispatch through a reliable trans / courier service.

PRODUCT
TYPE TESTING:
|

Our products are Type-Tested at Independent Laboratories, Govt. Of India U/T, viz. IDEMI &/or ERTL,
as & where applicable, for the following tests-
1) Environmental Test: 24 Hrs. running at 45-50°C & 90% RH. IS-3231.
2) Dielectric Strength: 2KV is applied offline, between all terminals shorted and body, for 60 secs. IS-3231.
3) Insulation Test: Tested for more than 100MW @ 500VDC, between all terminals shorted and body. IS-3231.
4) Heat Run Test: Continuous Operation for 48 Hours, at the rated inputs. IS 3231.
5) Functional Accuracy Test: Class 2, Class 2.5 & Class 1. IS 3231.
6) EMI & EMC Tests: As per IS 8686 & IEC 61000-4
